Dear BIOE 498 Student,

At this time, we have a number of interesting
project possibilities for this coming year, 
but we can always use more!

If *you* have an idea for a project, and know
a professor who would be willing to serve as
your Client, or if you just know a professor 
that you think would be fun to work with 
on some project that *they* may have, please
feel free to provide them with a copy of the
Project Solicitation letter on the course website

Any faculty member, of any department,
can be a Client; we are not limited to
Bioengineering.

Don't worry about the "23 September" date
indicated in the letter. But please *do* ask
your Client to contact me soonest, so we can chat,
and so your Client can present the project to the class
some time in the next 4 weeks.

Note that your project idea must be engineering,
and Bio-relevant. And depending on Team size(s),
I may assign one (or two) additional person(s)
from the class to be added to "your" project. 
This is why I would like the Client to speak to
the class, so that all students are aware of
all of the projects, when it comes time to 
submit project-assignment preferences.

I am very available on Tuesdays and Thursdays
before 4pm. Feel free to discuss meeting times
and dates with your Client, and send me email
with an "openning bid" (e.g. "Is 2pm 25 Sept OK?").
If I can make it, I will; if not, I will make
a counter offer.
